Graduate Women in Business invites your company to get to know the women of McCombs. We believe our strength lies in the diversity of our female students – women from different backgrounds, careers, and locations – whose leadership abilities have a strong impact on the program. Our current membership includes over 100 women representing different academic concentrations, 27 states, and 13 nations.
Recruit McCombs Women
If your company is looking for talented women, the Ford Career Center (FCC) can help you by offering a variety of recruiting resources. Start by either browsing the Ford Career Center Recruiting or email Stacy Rudnick in the FCC for more information.
Join our Speaker Series
GWIB’s Speaker Series brings sponsoring companies closer to McCombs students, allowing company executives to share their experiences on the front lines of current business challenges. Topics focus on professional development and can be tailored to fit specific areas of company expertise. Please email the GWIB President for more details.
Participate in the Women in Business Leadership Conference
The Women in Business Leadership Conference brings businesswomen together—respected MBA student leaders, successful corporate executives, and thriving entrepreneurs to connect and discuss current issues facing women in business leadership. Contact the WBLC Chair to learn how your company can connect with prospective employees in a relaxed, intimate setting that features keynote speakers, panel sessions, and an awards ceremony.
Sponsor an Event
Some companies favor a more casual approach to recruiting and opt to sponsor a professional development or social event. This opportunity gives firms and MBA students an opportunity to learn more about each other in a casual environment, and allows companies to publicize their interest in recruiting women during the recruiting “off-season”. For information, please email the GWIB President.
Become a Mentor
If you are interested in sharing your “lessons learned” with an MBA student, please join our mentoring program. Our program pairs professional women with current GWIB members, offering career guidance, networking opportunities, and industry insights. For information, please email our VP of Mentoring.
