The Graduate Marketing Network (GMN) provides members with the tools and resources to CONNECT them to their marketing interests and help them DISCOVER new ones. Through hands on experiences, cutting edge speakers and innovative workshops, GMN provides its members with a current perspective on marketing and prepares them for successful futures as marketing professionals.

We have worked with corporate sponsors to make the Marketing Challenge a highlight of your McCombs Marketing Experience.
The Challenge is a one-night case competition that allows students to apply classroom frameworks to a real-world situation and present their findings and recommendations to a panel of judges comprised of Marketing professionals. The GMN invites speakers from a variety of industries to discuss their roles and responsibilities as well as the kind of challenges they face as marketers. Previous speakers include high-level representatives from Frito-Lay, Microsoft and Dell among others. Recent speakers have discussed topics ranging from the effectiveness of large scale marketing campaigns to how to prepare for marketing case interviews. These events provide students with a wonderful opportunity to critically understand marketing concepts as well as network with potential recruiters.
CCIMS Marketing Fellows
The Graduate Marketing Network along with the Center for Consumer Insight and Marketing Strategy inaugurated the CCIMS Marketing Fellows program in Spring 2009. The objective of the program is to train exceptional students to go beyond the typical marketing curriculum and prepare them to become future marketing leaders. Students work on real life projects for sponsoring companies during the semester while also learning through traditional in-class lectures. Marketing Fellows is student led and managed with support from CCIMS and Marketing faculty.
