WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?


Summer:

Summers are hot... It begins in May where you will start to have some days with 80’F (26 Celsius). By July it stays very hot! Days are in the 90's (32 C) and nights are in the 80's or 70's (22 C). Sometimes it gets in the triple digits (40 Celsius). Sometimes you get a summer thunderstorm. This heat lasts through August and part of September. Then it starts to cool down again.

Fall:

Fall is very nice. The days are sunny and warm…You get some rain, but mostly it is wonderful weather.

Winter:

You will have weeks where it can freeze. Then you will have weeks where it will be in the 70's (22 C) for a couple of days. Generally the highs are in the 50's (10 C) and 60's (16) and 40's (4 C) or 50's at night. You will have rainy weeks, or lots of sunshine, but it rarely snows.

Spring:

Most people will agree that this is Austin's best season. Everything is really green and everyone is outside, running, biking, swimming, and enjoying the outdoors.  Starting in mid-March, days are sunny and warm...70's during the day and 60's at night... It can also rain from time to time.
